Dr. Georgeson grew up in a small tourist town known as Wisconsin Dells. In high school, he played football and basketball. He then pursued his collegiate basketball career at Edgewood College in Madison, WI. After four years, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree and enrolled in the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic cum laude and moved back to his current hometown of Madison, WI.
Professionally, Dr. Georgeson has training in medically supported, evidenced-based treatments to get lasting results. He is the only certified McKenzie Method (MDT) chiropractor in Sun Prairie. He is one of fifteen clinicians (DPT/DC) in the entire state of WI! He is also the only certified FAKTR chiropractor in Sun Prairie. The FAKTR technique uses Graston instrument-assisted manipulation, cupping, rehabilitation exercises, and Kinesio taping. He is also a specialist, certified in strength and conditioning (CSCS), Active Release Technique, and whole-body dry needling. He has extensive training from Palmer College of Chiropractic in FULL BODY adjustments. He is the vice chair for the Sun Prairie Chamber of Commerce. He is also a volunteer football and basketball coach and Sun Prairie Youth Sports Program board member. He has experience treating high school, NCAA collegiate, and professional athletes.
In his free time, Dr. Georgeson enjoys traveling and spending time with his family, which includes his wife, Victoria, their son Santiago (Santi), and their dogs, Izzy and Bolt. His wife grew up in the Sun Prairie community as a student-athlete and loved it. This is one of many reasons they returned to open the first Sun Prairie chiropractic clinic that incorporates strength training, soft tissue therapy (active release technique, dry needling, and scraping/cupping), and whole-body chiropractic adjustments in 2020. They aim to educate the Sun Prairie community about fast and effective ways to fix aches and pains in muscles, nerves, ligaments, and joints.
He and his wife lived in Graz, Austria, for six months in college and traveled all over Europe, making them want to travel and experience new things constantly! His wife, Victoria, is originally from Argentina, which has helped with his Spanish. If Dr. Georgeson is not traveling with his family, he enjoys being outside. He is an avid hunter and angler with plenty of stories. You can find him at the local gym working out or playing a game of pickup basketball. Of course, being from Wisconsin, he enjoys watching the Packers, Badgers, Brewers, and Bucks play!
